Great Place To Work has revealed its list of Australia’s Best Workplaces 2022, ranging from micro, small, medium, and large companies.
Roland Wee, director of Great Place to Work ASEAN and ANZ, said that the year had been one of change and adaption, post-pandemic, in which employers and their staff have learned what it means to be flexible and what it takes to trust.
The director noted that the list reveals companies that excelled were those who genuinely cared about their people’s wellness – both physical and mental – and delivered new ways of offering flexibility.
Wee said the list: “is the one positive legacy of this deadly pandemic and the repeated natural disasters we have suffered: a new appreciation that we are in this together as employers and employees.
“And it’s only with a sense of genuine trust and authenticity that we can bring out the best in each other,” he added.
OMD Australia was the only company representing the advertising and marketing sector in the medium organization category, claiming the 7th spot.
Martin Cowie, OMD’s chief people officer, said: “OMD is living proof that when a company puts its people first, business results naturally follow. GPTW certification has resulted in many years of continuous growth, making OMD the No 1 media agency in Australia.
“We focus on creating professional and personal growth opportunities for our people to ensure they have the necessary future work skills that will ensure sustainable careers,” he added.
