OMD closed 2021 as the most successful agency across Europe, according to the latest R3 New Business League.
OMD won a total reported 127 wins with an estimated 100.5 USD $m win revenue, putting OMD EMEA in the top spot ahead of Wavemaker (with 189 wins and 97.9 USD $M win revenue) and MediaCom (118 wins and 61.2 USD $m win revenue).
OMD’s industry-leading digital and strategic capabilities, complemented by Omnicom’s holistic marketing operating system Omni, and OMD’s guiding end-to-end process OMD Design, played a crucial role in OMD EMEA’s exceptional new business performance in what was a record-breaking year.
2021 saw OMD EMEA triple its YoY new business billings by winning and retaining in excess of $2bn of reviews including Mercedes Benz, Philips, IAG, Ferrero, L’Oreal, Channel 4, Comparethemarket.com & UK Government.
As well as topping R3’s league, OMD EMEA was named EMEA’s best performing media network in the 2021 RECMA Vitality & Structure Diagnostics Report.
