The M&M Global Awards announced the winners of this year’s awards, with wins for OMD, including MediaReach OMD making history as the first Nigerian team to ever win Gold at the competition. The Awards is an opportunity for companies in the media and marketing sector to showcase their work, and benchmark it against the best in the world.
MediaReach OMD scooped up Gold for its passionate and uplifting ‘Study from Home’ campaign for Kellogg’s in the ‘Best Local Execution of a Global Brand’ category. The campaign successfully set out to make sure Nigerian children had access to schooling in a first-of-its-kind partnership; a virtual learning programme for school children via TV and radio.
OMD New Zealand also achieved Gold in the ‘Best Campaign led by Digital’ and was highly commended in the ‘Best Campaign led by Cause’ category for ‘The Unsaid’ campaign with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency.
OMD Germany and EMEA were also successfully shortlisted for their work for McDonald’s and Tourism Ireland.
