During the event, Meta announced the expansion of AR ads to Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and Facebook Stories. Wishu reports the offering is “similar to what Snapchat has had for years as a pioneer for AR-based advertising.”
TikTok announced a new ad offering to brands called Pulse Premiere. The offering allows brands to buy ads on specific publishers’ TikTok content in categories such as sports, entertainment, and lifestyle. The Wall Street Journal reported publishers will get a 50% cut.
