Our 4 key takeaways from Virtual Equality Lounge – SAP SAPPHIRE NOW
3 8月 2020

Setting the Scene

The Female Quotient (FQ) is an organization committed to advancing equality in the workplace, believing it’s not a female issue but a social and economic imperative.

The Female Quotient’s signature pop-up experience is the Equality Lounge®, the largest female-led community to change workplace culture. To date, FQ has hosted over 250 Equality Lounges® globally, creating a community of more than 35,000 women in business.

SAP is a leading global enterprise software company with the purpose of helping the world run better and improve people’s lives. Every year SAP hosts SAPPHIRE NOW, a conference for users and partners to view product roadmaps, attend technology and strategy sessions, take educational courses and network with other attendees.

Like many businesses, in the wake of COVID-19, SAP had to reimagine SAPPHIRE NOW, moving to an entirely online and freely available event. In partnership with SAP and Deloitte Digital, The Female Quotient orchestrated a Virtual Equality Lounge® on the 27-30 July 2020, as part of SAP’s 2020 SAPPHIRE NOW conference, with topics ranging from racial justice, to caregiving, empathy and entrepreneurship.

OMD was on the virtual scene, attending all sessions and extracting observations and insights to bring back to our wider community.

These have been distilled into 4 themes:

    • Change or Get Left Behind
    • Building Better Business Practices
    • Showing Up In Ways That Matter
    • Unlocking Purpose
