OMD has announced the appointment of Martín Terzano into the role of CEO for OMD in México.

Martín returns to OMD following an extensive career as CEO and Chief Operations Officer in three competing agencies. Recently, Martín worked at IPG México as Chief Operations Officer. He played a critical role as head of transformation, ensuring the synchronization of strategy, management, organization, and financial objectives. Before this, Martín served as Chief Business Development Officer for LATAM (based in Miami) for GroupM. Similarly, he worked at Starcom Mediavest Group México as Managing Director of Mediavest México & SMG Digital and Chief Operations Officer for Mediavest México & LATAM.

Martín’s experience of OMD, having started his career as Planning Director at OMD Argentina 22 years ago, and his extensive industry experience places him in the best position to drive transformation at OMD in México. His expertise in leadership and management of media agencies and strategic planning will raise the recognition and work of OMD México.

This appointment follows the news of Lina Toledo recently being named CEO of OMD Colombia. Regarding both positions, OMD LATAM CEO, Juan Nino, said, “We rarely have the opportunity to add talent of this level and simultaneously in our network. Lina Toledo joins the management we currently have in LATAM as CEO of OMD Colombia, with whom we will continue to enhance the leadership of Latin American women in OMD based in Bogotá. Next, Martín Terzano as CEO of OMD Mexico, a person with extensive experience in our industry who will take on the challenge of changing the history of OMD in that market, based in Mexico City. Both, with their diverse backgrounds and expertise in different industries and competing networks, will support the consolidation of the new OMD that we are building together in LATAM.”
