This week’s FWD covers Meta’s new budget announcement for 2023. In a blog post, Meta’s Chief Technology Officer, Andrew Bosworth, announced that the company will continue to devote around 20% of its overall costs to the Metaverse in 2023.

A 20% investment in futuristic technologies is a “level of investment we believe makes sense for a company committed to staying at the leading edge of one of the most competitive and innovative industries on earth,” Andrew Bosworth wrote.
