OMD has announced the appointment of Claudia Franco as CEO of OMD Colombia. Claudia, who had been serving as OMD Colombia’s VP of Operations, took on the new challenge last month.

On her appointment, Claudia says: “It is an honor to lead OMD Colombia and continue to build and evolve on the foundations that have made it successful for over 20 years, as well as to lead an incredible team working with the best brands in Colombia at a time when media has never been more exciting or relevant. And that’s why we will continue to be focused and obsessed with driving growth for our clients, from our people, and always with passion and transparency”.

Claudia will report to Hernan Peña, CEO of Omnicom Media Group in Colombia, who says: ‘At OMG Colombia we believe in talent. But, above all, with example for all.  I am confident that a leader like Claudia will continue to strengthen the performance of our business and our clients and successfully take OMD to the next level, maintaining the leadership position she has consolidated for several years”.

Claudia has been with OMD for a little over 15 years and during her time at the agency, she has held different positions: media executive, account manager, operations manager, and VP. During this time, she has been building and generating value to the business, becoming a reference in the media industry in Colombia and a key player in the construction and transformation of OMD in recent years.
