OMD takes EMEA top spot in COMvergence’s 2020 New Business Barometer

The best things really do come in threes. In the past week alone, we have reported that OMD took the top spot in the latest R3 New Business League report (Dec 20), OMD has ranked #1 in RECMA’s Global Diagnostics report and now, we are thrilled to announce that OMD has taken the top spot across EMEA in COMvergence’s latest report.   

 

The ‘New Business Barometer for FY 2020’, the latest global media agency study by COMvergence, sees OMD top the charts as the number one media agency network in the EMEA region for new business results, amassing a total new business value of $739M in 2020. Wins such as Schwarz Group (Lidl & Kaufland), AliExpress EMEA, PosteItaliane and Molson Coors, saw OMD achieve the most net new business of any agency in 2020.

COMvergence is an independent international research consultancy, which provides an in-depth analysis and assessment of media agency performances in global, regional and local media pitches. The rankings are calculated based on the total new business values (new client wins plus retentions minus losses) and the current report evaluated 3,582 media account moves and retentions across 46 countries in 2020.
