In a move that recognises the ever-evolving needs of our clients, OMD EMEA has today announced the promotions of Kate Ivory, Jamie Irving and Laura Kell to the roles of Group Managing Partners for Strategy, Performance and Marketing Intelligence, respectively.

Whilst these core specialisms are already central to the agency’s offering, the growing needs of more technologically advanced clients, the growing requirement for automation and agile operating models, have evolved the demands on our international offering.

In order to deliver on the agency’s promise of ‘better decisions, faster’ to ensure measurable business success for clients, a further integrated agency model will see the strategy, marketing intelligence and performance teams work together seamlessly, to design for valued and valuable end-to-end experiences for consumers and clients.

Ivory will support Chief Strategy Officer, Mark Murray Jones, in the agency’s London HQ and across the network’s 72 offices in 68 countries in EMEA and will be focused on interpreting the client’s business needs and providing actionable strategic solutions.  The marketing intelligence team, spearheaded by Kell has grown to 56 experts in the last 18 months, primarily due to the successful application of Omnicom’s holistic marketing operation system ‘Omni’, OMD’s priority bespoke end-to-end planning process OMD Design and custom-built tools and platforms.  The performance team, led by Chief Performance Officer, Cristina Sagarduy, sees Irving stepping into the role of Group Performance Partner to complete the line-up, actioning the strategic learnings and data intelligence through performance media.

The overall objective is for the consumer experience to be as seamless, frictionless and empathic as possible.

Ivory, Irving and Kell join Phil Grimmett and Jennifer Meyer, Group Managing Partners responsible for some of the network’s most prominent clients such as Bacardi and PepsiCo, to complete the senior leadership team, led by OMD EMEA CEO, Guy Marks.

On growing the leadership team, Marks said, “The promotions of Kate, Jamie and Laura are not only testament to the exceptional talent we have at OMD EMEA but are crucial additions to the senior leadership team that highlight the breadth of the relationships we have with our clients.  We continually focus on the quality of our strategic planning, the importance of technology and platforms to our international clients and last, but certainly not least, the increased importance of marketing intelligence to close the loop in a fragmented marketplace.  Our newly appointed senior leadership team will form an integrated agency model that will seamlessly connect to drive better decisions faster, and ultimately greater business success, for our clients.”
