OMD has been named on the 2022 Australia’s Best Workplaces for Women list by Great Place to Work, a global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and the leadership behaviours proven to deliver market-leading revenue and increased innovation.
Australia’s Best Workplaces for Women recognises organisations that are committed to ensuring employees that identify as women feel safe, heard, challenged and valued in the workplace. OMD is one of only 30 organisations across Australia to be included on this list.
To be eligible for recognition on the Best Workplaces for Women list, organisations must be Great Place to Work certified and have a minimum of 100 employees including 50 employees that identify as women. To become certified, OMD joined hundreds of organisations in participating in the 2022 Great Place to Work Trust Index, an assessment program that surveys employees and benchmarks the results to assess workplace culture. OMD was awarded #7 Best Place to Work in Australia, medium sized category, by Great Place to Work in 2022. Demonstrating OMD’s continued commitment to workplace culture, the agency is the only Australian business to be included in the top 50 of this list for 14 consecutive years.
Great Place to Work use their For All Model and Methodology to evaluate the pool of Great Place to Work-Certified organisations, analysing the confidential employee feedback provided through the Trust Index survey. Employees respond to over 60 survey questions examining the extent their organisation has created a Great Place to Work For All:
• Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees who identify as women report about their workplace – whether people trust the management that they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the camaraderie with their colleagues. The survey also measures if employees are able to maximise their potential in the workplace regardless of who they are or what they do. Great Place to Work also consider the consistency of experiences for those who identify as women in the areas of innovation, and the effectiveness of their leaders as well.
• The remaining fifteen percent of the evaluation is based on how well-represented employees who identify as women are in the workforce and throughout management.
OMD is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace for everyone and operates under the company ambition of Performance with Integrity for our People and Partners. To deliver on this ambition, OMD is committed to providing a sustainable workplace that provides opportunities for squiggly career growth, innovation and pathways to achieve purpose for all employees.
