This week, there is more interesting news about Facebook as the company releases more details on how it is adapting products and services to suit a privacy-first world.   • Video meetings on LinkedIn ? Video communication has become pivotal to professional conversations. This new feature aims to drive members’ productivity. Move over, Zoom!
  • Reddit rolls out video feed ? When viewing a video on Reddit, (which shows who uploaded it and the subreddit it’s from), users can upvote or downvote, comment, gift an award or share it.

Start-up:

  • Learn skills online with BYJU’s ✏️ BYJU’s is an EdTech startup with 40+ million subscribers. The platform helps subscribers learn coding, math, and now music at home via BYJU’s FutureSchool. The platform offers an activity-based curriculum with real-time instruction.

Insights:

  • The team at GetVOIP reported that repeat customers tend to spend 67% more than new customers do.
  • Is it too early to trick or treat? In the United States, 85% of Snapchat users plan to celebrate Halloween this year.
  • Research from Talkwalker shows that 26% of users are more likely to retweet if the URL is in the middle of the tweet.
  • Stop, look and listen. According to TikTok’s own research, 73% of users will “stop and look” at ads on TikTok with audio.
