On March 8th, OMD EMEA’s agencies honoured International Women’s Day, with a focus on this year’s theme ‘Embrace Equity’ which works to explain the differences between ‘equity’ and ‘equality’ and opens the door to conversations on how to embrace equity in the workplace.
Embracing equity is important not just on International Women’s Day but every day at OMD. Supporting women in the workplace is an always-on priority for DE&I leadership and Omniwomen, Omnicom’s employee resource group for those who identify as women.
To initiate the conversation across the region, we asked women throughout the network to explain what embracing equity means to them and to share advice they would give to other women joining our industry today.
