DAN CLAYS

CEO

A high performance agency needs strong leadership to ensure its continual progression. Dan drives the direction of OMD UK’s people and its culture by working with the wider team to create an environment that attracts the best of the industry. His passion for media and understanding of the dynamic nature of consumer landscapes keeps the agency at the forefront of market trends, and, coupled with the high calibre team he cultivates, also ensures that fresh insights and innovative, market-leading work remain at the heart of OMD UK.
 
Starting out in the media industry over 16 years ago, Dan has worked in a variety of roles from digital specialist, to being a strategic agency leader, gaining a wealth of experience at digital agency Quantum, Arena Media, Phd, and Carat along the way. This depth of experience proves vital to delivering knowledgeable solutions for new and current clients alike.

Laura Fenton

Managing Director

Laura is responsible for driving and developing the agency’s day-to-day business and delivering best-in-class services for clients.
  
Having joined OMD UK in 2004 as a graduate Communications Planner, Laura has worked on multiple brands including Disney and Intel. In 2011 she transfered to Drum as Client Services Director, helping to shape the agency’s positioning, product and ways of working, delivering multiple award winning campaigns for Omnicom and moved back over to OMD UK in 2014 to take the role of Client Partner.

Jessica Roberts

CHIEF AGENCY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Jessica’s role ensures that OMD UK develops a client-centric business, shaping our teams to deliver against our clients’ growing expectations. She works alongside client partners and their teams to create benchmarks for what great client work and service looks like at OMD UK.
 
Jessica started her career in media at AMVBBDO as a graduate in 1993 and then moved to work at the in-house media department of BMP DDB which eventually became OMD UK as we know it today. Over the course of her career she has worked with a broad range of clients and sectors, most recently Boots, Hasbro and McDonald’s, helping them to redefine the role of media in their businesses and to evolve their communications models to integrate new opportunities.

CHRISTIAN BYRON

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Christian leads OMD UK’s multi-media buying team, managing the cost, quality and ROI targets of media investment. Christian ensures that the investment team leverages media value at every opportunity to optimise our clients’ strategies and budgets.

Christian joined OMD UK as a graduate in 2000, climbing the ranks to his current role at the head of the investment team. During this time, Christian has bought and traded media on behalf of a large portfolio of clients including RAC, Aviva, PepsiCo, Sony and McDonald’s, a comprehensive range that shows Christian’s versatility and ability in his field.

Alison Ashworth

Chief Strategy Officer

Alison became Chief Strategy Officer of OMD UK in October 2018. She works with OMD UK’s growing Business Intelligence team which includes strategy, insight, data and tech expertise as well as OMD Create, our Content, Experiences and Partnership team to develop data-driven strategies that will inspire creative and innovative media solutions for our clients.

Before joining OMD UK, Alison was Global Strategy Partner at Carat, working on the Coca Cola account. Prior to this, Alison was Strategy Partner at Mindshare and Head of Planning at advertising agencies, JWT and Euro RSCG.  She also has several years client side at Diageo.

Suzy Ryder

MANAGING PARTNER - DIGITAL & TECHNOLOGY

In April 2015, Suzy joined OMD UK as our first Managing Partner - Digital & Technology. She is responsible for developing all areas of digital across the agency, ensuring technology and data-driven solutions are at the heart of the agency’s media planning.

Before joining OMD UK, Suzy spent five years at Maxus where she was Head of Digital. Prior to Maxus, Ryder held senior roles at Zed and Tri-Direct.

Gareth Orr

Managing Partner - OMD Create

Gareth is an OMD UK 'lifer', having experienced most areas of the business including Client Leadership and Strategy before settling into his current role as Managing Partner and Head of OMD Create. His role is to draw upon a team of 50+ specialists in content, experiences and partnership to build business driving integration ideas that stretch what is possible in media. He also plays a key role in crafting the agency's awards effort.

Vicky Fox

Managing Partner - Connections Planning

Vicky Fox is OMD UK’s Head of Connections Planning – the agency’s cross-channel team that delivers truly audience-centric media planning. Vicky’s team works closely with the strategy and client leadership teams to ensure OMD UK’s clients’ needs are met through a rigorous planning approach.
 
Joining OMD UK in 2013, Vicky has 25 years’ experience of planning and buying media. She works across various global brands, including McDonald’s and Barclays. Vicky has been in the Omnicom family for 17 years, spending 12 of those at Manning Gottlieb OMD as Head of Implementational Planning.. Vicky also spent a year as Head of Planning at Thinkbox.

Helen Walker

Managing Partner - Client Development

Helen heads up the client servicing team alongside David and Laura. She is passionate about developing innovative communications strategies that deliver effective solutions to our clients' business problems.

Starting out in media 14 years ago, Helen has worked in a variety of roles across client service, strategy and brand experience. In 2003 Helen joined MEC (now Wavemaker) as a Communications Planner working on brands including Nintendo, Paramount and Transport for London. In 2010, Helen made the move to Australia and took charge of FUSE, OMD Sydney’s Partnership and Experience division, growing the business and delivering multiple award winning campaigns. In 2015 she transferred to OMD UK as Client Partner.

Kate Herbert

Managing Partner - Head of People

Kate is responsible for ensuring OMD UK’s people become the very best they can be. In the last year, she has overseen the implementation of You @ OMD UK, our brand made up of four key pillars: OMD Academy (our Learning and Development programme), OMD Life (our Health and Wellbeing initiative), Licence to Switch (an initiative that enables anyone in the agency to apply for a secondment within another team) and Giving It Large (enabling the agency to give back to the community).

Prior to joining OMD UK, Kate held the position of Head of People at PHD and has 10 years’ experience in leading HR departments across the UK.

Ron Bell

Managing Partner - Finance

Ron heads up OMD UK’s Finance team as Finance Director. He joined the agency in 2017 and is responsible for the day to day financial operations of the business and providing support for all commercial arrangements with our clients.
 
After graduating with a degree in Economics and some time spent as a sports journalist for CNN/REUTERS, Ron worked for a casino company before joining WPP in 1999 and Omnicom in 2004. He has been part of the OMD Network for 13 years, most recently holding the position of Finance Director at OMD EMEA.
