OMD Belgium wins the Belgacom account.
Belgacom, Belgium's second largest advertiser, has appointed OMD to handle its strategic media stewardship, planning, negotiation and buying. OMD will begin the assignment in April, after fending off competition from MediaedgeCIA, Universal Media, Carat and Space. The Belgacom group offers integrated telecommunication services on all networks, both fixed and mobile. They provide private individuals and professionals with telephony services, internet access and television. This innovative company, which promises to "listen, anticipate and act with a visionary spirit" is a good fit with OMD Belgium.
