OMD New Zealand named Media Agency of the Year
At Fairfax Admedia Agency of the Year Award held in Auckland April 16, 2008 OMD New Zealand was named Media Agency of the Year 2007. OMD New Zealand enjoyed a spectacular year in 2007 having a significant business growth winning new clients such as Mercury Energy and Stihl. The Auckland office has picked up the prestigious Grand Prix at Cannes Media Lions with ‘Money goes digital’ for ASB Pago which has also won 4 silvers at CAANZ Media Awards and 1 Gold at Digital Awards. OMD has impressed the judges not just the business growth but also because of the ‘people’. OMD New Zealand has high staff retention, an effective people management programme and is active in pro bono work and industry involvement. They also scored highly on ‘future’ strategy, awards won and high client retention rate.
