The First Gold for OMD Hong Kong at Advertising International Festival - Golden Award of Montreux 2007


OMD Hong Kong was awarded a Gold Medal at The Golden Award of Montreux 2007, 19th International Advertising & Multimedia Festival. Winners were announced on April 24, 2007 in Switzerland. It was the only gold awarded to a media specialist company in Asia.

The Golden Award of Montreux is an independent forum committed to improving the standard of creative excellence. With members of an international jury from 19 countries evaluated entries in 8 main categories: TV/Cinema ads, print ads, poster, direct mail, interactive media, radio, best use of media, events.

The Gold Medal is from the Creative Use of Media – Cross Media category for Levi’s Type 1 “How Bold Are You?” campaign. The same campaign also awarded a Finalist Award Certificate in the new media category.

OMD Australia “The Nivea Vitality Project – Volunteer to make the difference” campaign for Beiersdorf was also awarded a Finalist Award Certificate in the Cross Media category.
