Agency of the Year Award – one of the most prestigious award event in the industry organized by MEDIA & MARKETING was held in Hong Kong on December 11, 2007.

OMD Asia Pacific is the runner up of the Media Agency of the Year 2007. OMD received more awards across more categories than any other media agency in Asia Pacific. OMD dominated all awards shows and regionally won the biggest new business of Johnson & Johnson in 2007.

Elaine Ip of OMD China awarded the National Agency Head of the Year. Elaine has played an instrumental role in transforming her office into one of China’s fastest growing media agencies.

Gavin Gibson of OMD Hong Kong is the runner up for the Best Media Planner/Buyer category for Asia Pacific. Gavin as strategic planning director has orchestrated important new business wins for OMD Hong Kong and OMD Asia Pacific including the largest local client Venetian Macao and Johnson & Johnson across Asia Pacific.

John Gamvros from OMD Australia is also one of the finalists for the Account/Business Development of the Year.
