OMD named Global Media Agency of the Year

I am thrilled to share the news that OMD has been selected Global Media Agency of the Year by Adweek, a major US trade publication.

OMD was heralded for the industry-leading capabilities we offer our clients; our unsurpassed business intelligence, our global account management process and our continued leadership in media creativity and innovation. In other words, Insights, Ideas, Results!

This recognition also has a lot to do with our blockbuster new business year – we had more than $3 billion in growth worldwide while at the same time increasing organic growth and delivering results for our clients. Every corner of the OMD world contributed to this great result. OMD is truly one global network.

This honor comes on the heels of a number of successes we have achieved in the past several weeks. In Asia Pacific, OMD picked up the coveted Media Magazine's (HK) Agency of The Year Award; OMD Singapore also won the Hall of Fame's Media Agency of The Year. OMD New Zealand was named Media Agency of the Year three times by Fairfax Media, NBR and CAANZ; and OMD Australia captured the Media Campaign of the Year award by Ad News.

We have also had the distinction of being named Media Network of the Year by Campaign (UK), and OMD Canada was the big winner of the country’s top industry event, the Media Innovation Awards.
