Alexander Klingbeil

Investment & Accountability Director

More than 15 years of experience developing and implementing media strategies for a variety of accounts in several industries, such as pharma (Bayer, Sanofi), Retail (Chedraui -one of the most important supermarket chains in Mexico), Automotive (GM Dealers Mexican Association, Tech (Apple, Cisco, Nokia, Axtel and Microsoft), life & style (Adidas, Tous). He has acquired a clear understanding on how the digital world has evolved and how it has impacted the way consumers relate to brands and consume media in today’s dynamic world.

Today Alexander is the Investment & Accountability Director, where he is responsible for supporting all OMD accounts at reports, Optimization, Negotiations, Benchmarks and compliance contracts.

Ricardo Izquierdo

Head of Accuen

Ricardo is Head of Accuen for Omnicom Media Group.  Accuen is the Group's Trading Desk for Programmatic Buying.

Working under the Lead of Ana Larios, Ricardo is responsible for the Growth of Accuen business in Mexico, both for our current clients as well as dedicated clients.

Ricardo is passionate about digital marketing and his main objective is to build Accuen into one of the best Trading Desks in Mexico. Motivated by new technologies, advertising strategies and finding new ways to get the best results for the client, Ricardo was part of Affiperf, Havas Media's Trading Desk. 

Ricardo was key on building Affiperf México, in diverse aspects such as internal processes, ngotiation with publishers, testing innovation platforms, strategic campaings, administration and more.

Riccardo Ferraris

CEO Omnicom Media Group México

Success is born at the intersection between media, strategy and technology.  As the CEO of Omnicom Media Group Mexico, Riccardo uses this intersection to fuel powerful creative ideas as an agent for business transformation and growth.  As CEO, Riccardo continuously searches for new ways to reach and engage with people and consumers.   He challenges Omnicom teams in Mexico to use media connections, digital, and content to drive business results for our client partners. 
 
Prior to being appointed CEO Omnicom Media Group Mexico, Ricardo was Partner and Business Development Leader at CHRONICLE, a leading consultancy in Brand Content development, where he is also an Advisory Board member.  Riccardo spent most of his career at Grey Advertising rising to CEO of Grey Brazil and Chairman and Regional Director of Grey Advertising Latin America from 2009 to 2012. He was the driving force behind Grey's aggressive growth and expansion in the region and under his leadership, he instituted important changes and initiatives that included raising the agency’s creative profile, investing in strategic planning, and transitioning clients and the agency into the digital and mobile worlds.
 
In his current role, Riccardo is working to position OMD Mexico at the center of the intersection between media, strategy and technology so that clients are well-positioned to capitalize on innovative media opportunities that drive growth in the LATAM region.

Managing Director, OMD México

Patricia Martínez is Managing Director of OMD Mexico.

She is responsible for the media operations and continuous improvement of the strategies and services for OMD Clients. She is passionate about developing talent and help agency teams to improve Service, as well to support Clients, win in the marketplace and deliver profitable growth to their businesses.

 

Patricia is motivated by the convergence of media, strategy, consumer behavioral patterns, technology, digital platforms, and the mobile space to fuel powerful creative ideas as an agent for Business transformation and growth. Her current mission is to continuously search for new ways to reach and engage with people and consumers, and empowering them with great Media connections, Digital, and Content to drive business results for its Client partners.

Ana Larios

Digital Director

Digital is not a separate world but a  vital part of any communication plan.  As Digital Director, Ana is responsible for the digital strategy, media planning & optimization, and social media strategies of our client’s campaigns. 
 
Prior to joining OMD, Ana was the Digital Director of Young & Rubicam México with a P&L and the regional VML Hub accountability.  She was also responsible for Y&R Brands digital partners.  Ana has navigated the transition to digital including SEM and SEO for some of Mexico’s top brands.  In her digital role at OMD Mexico, Ana is committed to deliver smarter digital strategies and better digital solutions for our clients.

Sergio Díaz

Data & Analytics (Annalect) Director

Sergio is Annalect Mexico Director.

He is responsible for "Data And Analytics" for Omnicom Media Group, which includes OMD, PHD and Hearts and Science. Sergio is a passionate of numbers and brands.Prior to this, Sergio was VP Operations Director for Publicis Media Mexico (Starcom, Mediavest, Zenith & Optimedia). He was part of Directors Commite. He developed KPI’s to measure the improvement in the operation and implemented processes for planning, buying and administration for the group.

Sergio arrived to Starcom as Data & Analytics Director for Coca-Cola to develop the discipline. After a year he became the Director for SMG developing projects for P&G, Banamex, Heineken and Herdez. In 2012 he promoted to LATAM Regional Director for D&A. Under his leadership the discipline was developed to main offices in the region consolidating a team of more than 30 data and analytics specialist.

Before working at SMG he was part of WPP where he worked as Brand Planner for Y&R where he measured Brand Value based on BAV (Brand Asset Valuator). The previous 7 years he worked at Wunderman as Business Intelligence measuring Loyalty programs and CRM efforts.

Sandra is in charge of negotiations with Media partners in order to build better relationships that generate the best possible offerings for the Group’s clients. The area of Trading & Operations is part of Omnicom Media Group.

Shawn McDonough

Strategic Planning Director

A deep understanding of the market and detective-like abilities are essentials skills to deliver game-changing results for our clients.  As the Strategic Thinking Director at OMD Mexico, Shawn deeply understands the market, consumers, companies and categories. He uncovers unique insights that will generate smarter strategies for campaigns that drive stronger results.
 
After 15 years of experience at a creative agency in Los Angeles, Shawn took his career abroad to become Creative Director at JWT in Mexico. Interested in strategy, Shawn applied planning principles to the area of conservation, as Director of Communications for Mexico’s leading non-profit environmental organization PRONATURA.  He then served as VP Director of Strategic Planning at GREY GROUP Mexico and TERAN/TBWA Mexico. Shawn was instrumental in consolidating the multi-disciplinary teams that would execute dozens of integrated communications programs with activations in mass, digital and retail media.
 
Shawn’s experience combined with Vision, OMD’s global operating system, provides OMD Mexico with the expertise and talent to deliver powerful media strategies for our clients.

Ulises’ broad range of experience spans TV production, design, and research for some of Mexico’s top agencies including TNS-Research International, Lexia Qualitative Insights and Synovate.  Ulises has used this experience to generate numerous account and award wins for OMD Mexico clients as a testament to his impact on our team.

We recently did a pitch which was absolutely fantastic. The whole team were fans so the planning process boiled down to a bunch of us basically just having a laugh with a bunch of inside jokes. We were so comfortable when we presented and knew every angle inside out, and the client loved us!

DIVERSE EXPERIENCES
I've had days where I spend my morning looking at Lingerie (Vickyform), Cars for lunch (Nissan), Computers for the afternoon(Intel) and Drinks for the night (Diageo). You have to be good at switching tracks in your mind and quickly get on a new train of thought.
