Remi Boel

Marketing Intelligence Director

At OMD Belgium, results-driven insights are informed by market, media and consumer insights.  As our Marketing Intelligence Director, Remi leads our Research Department and econometric modeling unit Brand Science to uncover the insights that unlock business growth for our clients. 
 
Remi started his career in the paper business and quickly moved into media planning at J. Walter Thompson where he worked on major international FMCG, durable and prestige clients.  He joined Omnicom Media Group in 2002 and now helps OMD clients focus gain a strong focus on a better understanding of the insights influencing market and consumer relationships in order to drive brand growth.

Marie Rios

TV DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR

In a world where TV is more alive than ever, you need a director that knows how proven concepts and new media opportunities combine to deliver a compelling brand story.

Marie started her career as a Media Buyer at D.D.B. Brussels in 1982, which provided her with the opportunity to see TV coming of age as THE advertising medium. Passionate about TV, Marie has been closely following its evolution since the beginning. In 1993, Marie set up the first « Non Spot Advertising » department in Belgium, which later became OMD Fuse.  Today, Marie leads the TV department at OMG Belgium.

With her passion, experience and dedication, Marie continues to lead and coach the members of the TV team. Her daily challenge is maximising TV, in a relevant, creative and cost-efficient way. At the same time, she is thrilled to take you on an exciting journey from the latest TV formats to the hottest digital, multi-device video evolutions, so that your brand stays on top of the game.

Media Buying Director

Efficient media plans require a razor-sharp focus on detail.  As Media Buying Director, Martine’s  precise eye for detail, ruthless knowledge of rates, discounts and media performance help our clients secure better deals whilst maintaining stronger media relationships.

Working for over 25 years at OMD Belgium, Martine understands the complexities of a range of buying methods, automation and reporting for national and international clients. In 2009, Martine led the integration of online and offline buying, positioning OMD as the first fully integrated media agency. This drove us to create better buying/planning/analysis technology, whilst ensuring our clients plans are crafted on precise data and insights.

Pascale Deberghe

Radio Department Director

Belgium is a radio loving country and the dynamic change in the Belgian radio industry requires a strong leader to navigate clients through the changing landscape.  As the country’s only Radio Director, Pascale insures that our clients are smarter about how audio advertising is evolving and how brands can benefit.

Pascale started her career at the beginning of commercial radio advertising in Belgium and was immediately captivated by the radio virus. With this passion, as radio evolves, Pascale insures that OMD clients are at the forefront of innovation.

Pascale is regularly consulted by the radio industry for her sharp vision on this medium.  Her experience goes well beyond radio, as she founded the OMD digital department in 1998 which she led until 2006. Today she merges both experiences, pioneering a movement in digital radio and integrated audio campaigning to drive our client’s growth.

Innovative trading solutions and our client’s business results are at the heart of OMD Belgium’s trading and accountability philosophy.  

In his current role of Accountability Manager, Alain ensures, in close cooperation with Opera, that OMD delivers effective media campaigns. Alain works alongside the account teams across all clients, tailoring trading solutions to client goals and objectives.

Alain has 30+ years of experience in media buying, planning and performance management. Alain’s experience and relationships at a local and international level and provide the tools needed to create tremendous value for our clients.
